For paragraph 3(3) of Schedule 2 to the Dyfed-Powys Police Amalgamation Scheme 1973 there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph—

“(3)

For the purposes of sub-paragraph (2) above the population of an area shall be that population as estimated by the Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages as at 30th June in the financial year in question.”.
