The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Ecumenical Relations Measure 2018, make the following Order:

## 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Ecumenical Relations Measure 2018 (Commencement) Order 2019.

## 2 Commencement on 1st February 2018

Sections 1 to 3 of the Ecumenical Relations Measure 2018 come into force on 1st February 2019.

## Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force the substantive provisions of the Ecumenical Relations Measure 2018.
Article 2 provides for sections 1 to 3 to come into force on 1st February 2019. Section 2 came into force on Royal Assent, in accordance with that section.
