# The Edible Crabs (Undersized) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into operation 22nd August 2020
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 127(1) and (3A) of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966 and section 6(1) of the Sea Fish Conservation Act 1967 , and now vested in it.
