# Education Act 1944 (repealed 1.11.1996), Paragraph 1

A local education authority and the . . . governors of any voluntary school maintained by the authority may, subject to and in accordance with the provisions of this Schedule, make an agreement for the transfer to the authority of any interest in the school premises held by any persons for the purposes of any trust deed relating to the school.
