  "text": "(1) Section 1 of the Education Act 1964 (middle schools) is amended as follows.\n(2) In subsection (1), after “1980” there is inserted “ proposals with respect to a grant-maintained school or proposed grant-maintained school are submitted to the Secretary of State under sections 48, 49, 96 or 97 of the Education Act 1993 or proposals with respect to a county school are published under section 272 of that Act ”.\n(3) In subsection (3), for “1962” there is substituted “ 1993 ”.",
