# The Education Act 1996 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1997, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force section 528 of the Education Act 1996 (under which local education authorities are placed under a duty to publish disability statements relating to further education) in its application to Wales on 30th October 1997.
