# The Education Act 2002 (Commencement No. 14) (Wales) Order 2011, Article 2: Appointed day


(1) The appointed day is 1 September 2011.
(2) The following provisions of the 2002 Act come into force on the appointed day—
(a) section 204;
(b) section 215(2) to the extent that it relates to the provisions of Schedule 22 specified below; and
(c) in Schedule 22, the repeal of chapter I of Part 4 of the Education Act 1997.
