# The Education (Adjudicators Inquiry Procedure etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by paragraph 5 of Schedule 5 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, after consultation with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992, hereby makes the following regulations:
