# Education and Inspections Act 2006, Paragraph 2


In this Schedule “the relevant authority” means—
(a) in the case of proposals under section 7, the local education authority who published the notice under that section, and
(b) in the case of proposals under section 10 ... or 15, the local education authority who maintain the school or (in the case of a new school) who it is proposed should maintain the school.
