  "heading": "Meaning of “maintained school” and “eligible for intervention”",
  "text": "(1) In this Part “maintained school” means any of the following schools in England—\n(a) a community, foundation or voluntary school,\n(b) a community or foundation special school, or\n(c) a maintained nursery school.\n(2) In this Part, references to a school being “eligible for intervention” are to be read in accordance with—\nsection 60 (performance standards and safety warning notice),\nsection 60A (teachers' pay and conditions warning notice),\nsection 60B (coasting schools),\nsection 61 (school requiring significant improvement), and\nsection 62 (school requiring special measures).",
