# The Education (Assisted Places) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, Regulation 2


(1) In paragraph (1) of regulation 2 of the principal Regulations after the definition of “first assisted year” there shall be inserted the following definition—
““grant-maintained school” means a grant-maintained school within the meaning of the Education Reform Act 1988;”.
(2) In paragraph (2) of regulation 19 of the principal Regulations after sub-paragraph (a) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph—
“(aa) a grant-maintained school,”.
