# The Education (Assisted Places) (Incidental Expenses) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Education (Assisted Places) (Incidental Expenses) Regulations 1989. They come into force on 21st August 1990 and apply to a school year beginning on or after that date.
The means tests for uniform grants and school travel grants are relaxed (regulations 2 and 3).
