  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) Regulations 1988.\nUpdated references to the Education (Teachers) Regulations 1993 have been introduced (regulation 3).\nThe amount of the bursary for students commencing a course on or after 1st September 1993 will be £1,000; students commencing a course on or after that date will not be entitled to the equipment allowance of £200 for students of craft, design and technology or to the allowance of £500 a year for intending teachers of physics which have been available up to that date (regulation 4).",
