Regulation 14 Local education authority context and audit

The material referred to in regulation 12 includes a statement by the local education authority giving a description of–

(a)

the key characteristics of the authority which the authority consider relevant to the improvement of, and the raising of standards in, schools in its area, and

(b)

the processes by which the authority have, prior to the date they submit the first plan to the Secretary of State in accordance with section 7(1) of the 1998 Act, monitored and evaluated their own performance and the performance of schools maintained by the authority, and the outcomes of that monitoring and evaluation.
