  "text": "The fixed term exclusions referred to in regulation 8 are–\n(a) the maximum total number of days for which, and\n(b) the maximum total number of occasions on which,\nthe authority estimate that pupils will be excluded for a fixed term from schools maintained by the authority, other than any school situated in a hospital.",
