# The Education (Fees and Awards) (Amendment) Regulations 1991, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Education (Fees and Awards) Regulations 1983 so that residence in the former German Democratic Republic prior to the unification of the Federal Republic of Germany is treated as residence in the European Community.
