# The Education (Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 1st September 1996.
(2) Any reference in these Regulations to the principal Regulations is a reference to the Education (Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) Regulations 1993.
