# The Education (Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) Regulations 1993, Paragraph 35: Restrictions on persons taking part in proceedings


Without prejudice to paragraph 32 above, Appendix 1 to this Schedule shall have effect for the purposes of describing the only circumstances and cases in which a member of the Governing Body or any other person present at a meeting of the Governing Body shall be required —
(a) to withdraw from the meeting;
(b) not to take part in the consideration or discussion of any matter; or
(c) in the case of a member of the Governing Body, not to vote on any question with respect to any matter.
