# The Education (Grant-Maintained Special Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 1997, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Education (Grant-Maintained Special Schools) Regulations 1994 by substituting for regulation 41, which applied section 245 of the Education Act 1993 in relation to a grant-maintained special school not established in a hospital, a new regulation which applies sections 23 and 29 of the Education Act 1997 in relation to such a school.
