Laid before Parliament 19th December 2003
Coming into force 14th January 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 537A (1) of the Education Act 1996 , the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Regulations:

## 1 Citation, commencement and application

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Information About Individual Pupils) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 14th January 2004.

## 2 Citation, commencement and application

These Regulations apply only in relation to schools in England.

## 3 Amendment

The Education (Information About Individual Pupils) (England) Regulations 2001 shall be amended in accordance with the following provision of these Regulations.

## 4 Amendment

In paragraph 7 of Part 1 of the Schedule, after the words “Where the pupil has special educational needs,” there shall be inserted “the type of special educational needs that pupil has and”.
