  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Education (Information About Individual Pupils) (Wales) Regulations 2003 which require governing bodies of maintained schools to provide the local education authority which maintains the school with prescribed information on pupils at the school on written request from the authority.\nRegulation 2 amends the 2003 Regulations by:\nrequiring that the governing body of a maintained school provides individual pupil information to the maintaining local education authority in machine readable format; and\nextending the range of information that local education authorities may request on sixth form pupils.",
