This Order may be cited as the Education (Listed Bodies) (England) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 23rd May 2002.

The Secretary of State can exercise the power under section 216(2) only in relation to England: see article 2 of and Schedule 1 to the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672). The Secretary of State’s functions were transferred, in or as regards to Scotland, to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
