# The Education Maintenance Allowances (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004

## Introductory text

This Scottish Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.S.I. 2004/273 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that instrument.

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 24th June 2004
Coming into force 2nd July 2004
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(f) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

## 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education Maintenance Allowances (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 2nd July 2004.

## 2 Amendment of Regulations

In paragraph 6(a)(i) of Schedule 1 to the Education Maintenance Allowances (Scotland) Regulations 2004 for “Scottish Ministers” substitute “Secretary of State for the Home Department”.
