  "text": "(1) The Education Maintenance Allowances (Scotland) Regulations 2007 are amended as follows.\n(2) In regulation 3—\n(a) in paragraph (1), for “Scotland” substitute “the United Kingdom and Islands”; and\n(b) in paragraph (3), for “2004” substitute “2008”.\n(3) In Schedule 1, for “the United Kingdom and Islands” where it occurs in the following paragraphs substitute “Scotland”—\n(a) paragraph 1(a);\n(b) paragraph 2(1)(c);\n(c) paragraph 3(1)(c);\n(d) paragraph 7(c);\n(e) paragraph 8(b); and\n(f) paragraph 9(c).\n(4) In paragraph 1(1) and (2) of Schedule 2, for “the United Kingdom and Islands” in each place where it occurs substitute “Scotland”.",
