These Regulations amend paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 3 to the Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1987 by adding income support and housing benefit (both payable under Part II of the Social Security Act 1986) and payments under Part II of the Income Support (Transitional) Regulations 1987 to those of the student’s resources that may be disregarded for the purpose of calculating his income. The opportunity has also been taken to correct the misprint in paragraph 1(1)(r).
