# The Education (Mandatory Awards) (Amendment) Regulations 2004, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 6th April 2004
Coming into force 1st September 2004
The Secretary of State for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 1 and 4(2) of, and paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 to, the Education Act 1962, and by sections 3(1) and (3) of the Education Act 1973 hereby makes the following Regulations:
