# The Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 7th August 1990
Laid before Parliament 10th August 1990
Coming into force 1st September 1990
The Secretary of State for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 4(2) of, and paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 to, the Education Act 1962 and section 3(1) and (3) of the Education Act 1973, hereby makes the following Regulations:
