# The Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1992, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 2nd June 1992
Coming into force 21st September 1992
The Secretary of State for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 4(2) of, and paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 to, the Education Act 1962 and section 3(1) and (3) of the Education Act 1973, hereby makes the following Regulations:
