# The Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1992, Paragraph 4


The requirements referred to in regulation 18(1)(a) shall include the student’s requirements—
(a) for supplementary maintenance in the cases and for the periods mentioned in paragraphs 5 and 6; and
(b) in respect of such expenditure as is mentioned in paragraphs 7 to 11; and the amount of any such requirement (“supplementary requirement”) shall be determined in accordance with this Part of this Schedule.
