# The Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 22nd July 1993
Laid before Parliament 26th July 1993
Coming into force 1st September 1993
The Secretary of State for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 4(2) of, and paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 to, the Education Act 1962 and section 3(1) and (3) of the Education Act 1973, hereby makes the following Regulations:
