# The Education (National Curriculum) (Exceptions) Regulations 1996, Note: Explanatory note

These Regulations revoke, with effect from 1st September 1996, the Education (National Curriculum) (Exceptions) Regulations 1994. They make transitional provision in relation to the 1996–97 school year for pupils entering the fourth key stage in that year.
