# The Education (National Curriculum) (Modern Foreign Languages) (Amendment) Order 1994, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st August 1994
In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 3(2)(b) and 232(5) and (6) of the Education Reform Act 1988 the Secretary of State for Education, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, hereby make the following Order:
