  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations.)\nThese Regulations specify the information about local education authorities' (LEAs) expenditure on education which must be contained in a statement (referred to in the regulations as an “outturn statement”) which each LEA is required to prepare after the end of each financial year under section 52(2) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (regulation 5).\nThe Regulations also specify the form which outturn statements must take (regulation 4(1) and (2)) and the manner of, and time for, publication of such statements (regulations 6-8).\nThe Regulations replace earlier Regulations which are revoked (regulation 3).",
