  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order designates all awards granted by, or to be granted by, Richmond College, the American International University in London before 31st October 1996 as recognised awards for the purposes of section 214 of the Education Reform Act 1988.\nAs recognised awards, awards granted by Richmond College are not awards of the kind referred to in section 214(1) of the 1988 Act, which makes it an offence to grant, offer to grant or issue any invitations relating to certain unrecognised degrees or awards.",
