Article 1 Citation, commencement, application and revocation

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) Order 2007 and comes into force on 1st October 2007.

(2)

This Order only applies in relation to England^f1.

The following Orders are revoked––

(a)

the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) Order 2003^f2, and

(b)

the Education (Recognised Bodies) (England) (Amendment) Order 2005^f3.

Annotations

f1: By virtue of the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order (S.I. 1999/672) and the Scotland Act 1998 (Consequential Modifications) (No 2) Order (S.I. 1999/1820) the powers conferred by sections 216 of the Education Reform Act 1988 are exercisable by the Secretary of State only in relation to England
