  "text": "(1) If the Secretary of State is satisfied that a member of the Authority—\n(a) has been absent from meetings of the Authorityfor a period longer than six consecutive months without the permission of the Authority; or\n(b) is unable or unfit to discharge the functions of a member;\nthe Secretary of State may by notice in writing to that member remove him from office.\n(2) If the chairman or deputy chairman of the Authority ceases to be a member of the Authority, he shall also cease to be chairman or deputy chairman.",
