# The Education (School Information) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 29(5), 508A(1)(b), 508D(4) and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996:
