These Regulations–

(a)

consolidate (with certain changes consequential upon the School Standards and Framework Act 1998) the Education (School Information) (Wales) Regulations 1997 as amended, which are revoked; and

(b)

simplify the information about school attendance figures that governing bodies are required to publish.
