# The Education (School Inspection) (Amendment) Regulations 1999, Regulation 3: Notification of inspection


(1) In regulation 5(1)(c) of the 1997 Regulations there shall be substituted for the words “the funding authority” the words “a person appearing to them to be an appropriate officer of the local education authority”.
(2) For regulation 5(2)(a) of the 1997 Regulations there shall be substituted–
“(a) a reference to “a school which has a delegated budget” is a reference to a school which has a delegated budget within the meaning of Part II of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998”.
