  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations substitute a new regulation 4 in the Education (School Inspection) (No. 2) Regulations 1993 (S.I. 1993/1986). The effect is to extend by one year the period within which the Chief Inspector is to secure the inspection by a registered inspector of a primary school which has already been inspected between 1st September 1993 and 31st August 1994 inclusive, under powers contained at that time in section 3 of the Education (Schools) Act 1992 (now contained in section 3 of the School Inspections Act 1996), and in respect of which the Chief Inspector has sent a report of the inspection to the appropriate authority for the school.",
