# The Education (School Performance Information) (England) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st September 2008
The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 408, 537, 537A and 569 of the Education Act 1996.
In accordance with section 408(5) of that Act he has consulted with those with whom consultation appeared to be desirable.
