# The Education (School Performance Information) (England) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2021, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st September 2021
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 408, 537A and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996.
In accordance with section 408(5) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted with those persons with whom the Secretary of State considered consultation to be desirable.
