# The Education (School Performance Targets) (England) (Revocation) Regulations 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(3) of the Education Act 1996 and sections 19 and 54(3) of the Education Act 1997.
