# The Education (School Records) Regulations 1989, Regulation 2: Commencement


(1) Except for the regulations referred to in paragraph (2), these Regulations shall come into force on 1st September 1989.
(2) Regulations 6(1)(b) and (c), (2), (3) and (4), 7 (insofar as it relates to disclosure and amendment of records), and 8 (insofar as aforesaid) shall come into force on 1st September 1990.
