Regulation 2

(1)

The Education (Special Educational Needs) Regulations 1994^f1 shall be amended as follows.

In regulation 3(a) after the words “qualified teacher” there shall be inserted the words “within the meaning of section 218 of the Education Reform Act 1988^f2”.

(3)

In regulation 7(2) for the words “in paragraph (1)” there shall be substituted the words “in paragraph (1)(a) to (c)”.

(4)

In regulation 21(10)(a) and (b) for the words “commenced after 1st September 1994” in both places where they occur there shall be substituted the words “to which regulations 15 to 17 apply”.
