# The Education Standards Grants (Wales) Regulations 2002, Regulation 3: Expenditure in respect of which grants are payable


Grants shall be payable only in respect of prescribed expenditure incurred or to be incurred in a financial year and only to the extent to which that expenditure is approved for that year by the National Assembly for the purposes of these Regulations.
