# The Education (Student Support) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2018, Regulation 9: Amendment of the Education (Student Support) Regulations 2011


In regulation 136 (interpretation of Part 11)—
(a) in paragraph (1)—
(i) in the words before sub-paragraph (a), omit “(except for purposes of regulation 139(1)(e))”;
(ii) in sub-paragraph (a), for “151” substitute “139A”;
(b) after paragraph (1), insert—
“(1A) Paragraph (1) does not apply—
(a) for the purposes of regulation 139(1)(e); or
(b) in relation to the application of this Part to loans for living costs in connection with designated part-time courses.”;
(c) omit paragraph (3).
