  "text": "For paragraph (5) of regulation 17 of the 2005 Regulations, substitute—\n“(5) The amount of adult dependants' grant calculated under regulation 20 in respect of an adult dependant shall be reduced by one half where—\n(a) the eligible student’s partner—\n(i) is an eligible student; or\n(ii) holds a statutory award; and\n(b) account is taken of that partner’s dependants in calculating the amount of support for which that partner qualifies or the payment to which he is entitled under the statutory award.”.",
