# The Education (Student Support) (Amendment) Regulations 2014, Regulation 3: Amendment of the 2011 Regulations


In regulation 2(1) (interpretation)—
(a) after the definition of “Directive 2004/38”, insert ““disability” has the meaning given in section 6 of the Equality Act 2010;”;
(b) in the definition of “ordinary duration”, omit—
(i) “, in relation to a designated course,”;
(ii) “designated” in the second place it occurs; and
(c) in the definition of “standard student”, omit “designated”.
