Regulation 9 Amendment of the 2002 Regulations

(1)

Regulation 15 shall be amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2)

The following shall be substituted for paragraph (4):—

  • “An eligible student shall be eligible under paragraphs (1) to (3)—

    1. (a)

      for the maximum amount of grant payable only if he maintains a dependent who ordinarily resides in the United Kingdom for six months or more of the academic year in respect of which the eligible student applies for assistance under paragraph (1); and

    2. (b)

      for no grant in any other case.”

In paragraph (11), the words “paragraph 2(1)(a)” shall be substituted for the words “paragraph 3(1)(a) of Part II” wherever they appear.
